Oh the Angst! (Explicit Images)

Hello Bingers! It has been a very long while, and I apologize for that. I stopped blogging because I didn’t think people actually liked to read my blog; however, my love for this blog was recently reinforced when I went into an interview for a company. When I told them about this blog, they were enthralled, and I realized that people might actually appreciate the words I have to say. In that case, if you are one of those people, I’m very sorry for the hiatus, but I am back for good, and I have SO much to catch everyone up on.

Okay, now for the real dirt… or the dirty if I may say (haha! I definitely made myself laugh typing that). Big Mouth. This is probably the dirtiest, most vulgar, and most uncomfortable show that I’ve ever watched, and that says a lot. I definitely don’t suggest watching this show with your parents. Like HBO, because it’s a Netflix Original, there are no limits to what can and cannot be incorporated into the show, so when you see penises playing basketball in the VERY FIRST EPISODE don’t be surprised because there is far worse for you to encounter. This is definitely not a bad thing though because it is all needed for the vast amount of humor to consume you.

When I said penises playing basketball, I wasn’t joking guys. First episode. It’s real life.

If you don’t know what this show is about, it consists of pre-teens going through puberty being haunted by Hormone Monsters.

This is a photo of the male version of the Hormone Monster speaking unspeakables into Andrew Glouberman’s ear. He’s most likely telling him to jack off to be completely honest. Also, there is a female version of the Hormone Monster.

That is literally what the show is about: puberty, teen angst, hormones, and discovering how it all works. The boys in the show are awkward, the girls are emotional, and there is a pervy PE coach. What else would you expect from a cartoon right?

Okay, so what else does this show have? Your answer…

Andrew Goldberg.
Really, I feel like that is all that needs to be said about this show. If you don’t know who Andrew Goldberg is, you probably do but just don’t realize it. He is prominently known for his work with both Family Guy and American Dad, and this prodigy graced us with a brand new show with the same beautiful and crude humor that we know and love.

The lovely Andrew Goldberg everyone.

Let’s not forget to give credit where it is due though because Nick Kroll was the other huge star of this show’s creation and success. Kroll, an executive producer, was the voice of many of the characters including Nick Birch, the Hormone Monster, and Coach Steve. However, I would love to point out the fact that the cartoon Nick actually looks like a Nick Kroll. Maybe I’m crazy, but it’s true.

Okay… now that I see the photos side by side, maybe they don’t look similar, but in my mind, the cartoon Nick is what I imagine the real Nick to look like at a younger age.

There is currently only one season and each episode is 30 minutes long, but I can say that I’m definitely excited to see what is coming for us Bingers in the future seasons! To be honest, I don’t like cartoon usually, but this one took the cake for me. I definitely needed this in my life while going through my last semester of college.

I really don’t have much else to say, but if you like Family Guy, you’ll LOVE this show. I just hope you are okay with seeing cartoon figures having sex, jizzing their pants, starting their periods, and way too much more.

Binge on!!

P.S. While working on the tags for this post, the real meaning of “Coming of age all over the place” from the featured photo just hit me…. just think about it.
